Use the remote control to manage the mood lighting at home. Create the ambience you desire from the easy to use settings. Remote control: From the comfort of your sofa you can turn the tape light on or off (this does not turn the mains power on or off, only the appliance). Adjust the brightness of the tape kit using the dimming controls setting the mood perfectly. Add a variety of colour to accent your room using the swatch panel, with a range of colour that will suit your mood perfectly. You can also decide on the modes the tape light will use, manage the ambience by choosing from smooth transitions, fading in and out, strobe and flash settings. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice. Preparation and Usage Battery information: 1 x CR2025 battery included. Remove the plastic tab in the bottom of the remote control to activate the battery. Only use batteries of the same or equivalent battery type as recommended. Batteries should only be replaced by an adult. Do not mix old and new batteries. Check and observe the correct polarity when replacing and installing batteries. If battery is leaking do not use and dispose of immediately. Dispose of depleted batteries safely. Do not dispose of in fire. Use collection points where available. Battery replacement: Locate the battery compartment at the base of the remote control. Press the locking mechanism to release and remove the compartment from the main unit. Remove the depleted battery and replace with the new battery observing the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment back into the main unit until it locks in place with a click. Installation: Remove all components from the packaging carefully. Do not plug the transformer in to the mains socket before all other connections are made. Check that all the wires and connections are not damaged. Remove the LED tape from its storage wheel. Always remove the LED tape light from the storage reel before use. Connect the tape kit to the RGB Connection box lining up the arrows on both connectors. Plug the power adaptor into the RGB connection box. Locate where you wish to install the LED tape light. The intended installation surface must be clean and dry for maximum adhesion. Remove the backing to the adhesive surface of the tape and place firmly to the surface. We recommend peeling a small section of the tape backing as you go. When placing the LED tape in position make sure that the IR reciever on the RGB Connection box is within the 5 metre range and visible for the remote control to work. The tape can be cut to the desired length of the intended surface. The tape has dedicated cutting points where it is safe to do so. Plug into any mains socket once all connections are made. Once situated in the desired location, ensure the RGB Connection box has an unobstructed view of the room to allow the remote control to work properly.
