The leaves of the raspberry bush have been used for millennia to support women’s wellness and particularly to prepare the body at the end of pregnancy. From 32 weeks at the earliest, you can drink this tea as a way to prepare to meet your baby. We blend our raspberry leaf with whole peppermint leaf, to help with digestion and heartburn/acid reflux when you’re full of baby! But also to improve the flavour as raspberry leaf on it’s own is hard to drink.

Red raspberry leaf tea is not red - just to be confusing! But the leaves of the bush are high in fragerine which is linked in studies to shortening the second stage of labour.

Tips and Advice

Don't drink before 32 weeks of pregnancy at the earliest.

We recommend building up the amount you drink - start with 1 cup a day for a week, then have 2 cups a day for another week, then 3 cups a day and finally 4 cups a day.

Each bag can make 2 cups of tea - don't throw your bag away! Keep it in a pot by your kettle and re-brew!
