xLike all of our bourbons, Jim Beam Double Oak is crafted in charred oak. Its rich flavour comes from being aged a second time in another separate barrel. This expertly crafted expression is first matured in new charred American white oak barrels - as with all Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon - before being transferred into a second freshly charred oak barrel for a further period of ageing. The twice-barrelled production process allows the product to have greater contact with the wood, drawing out exceptional and perfectly balanced depths.

Preparation and Usage
Jim Beam Double Oak
Old Fashioned
Great way to allow the double oak liquid to shine through.
Vessel:
Rocks Glass
Garnish:
Zest of orange
Ingredients:
50ml Jim Beam Double Oak
2 dashes Angostura bitters
5ml sugar syrup
Method:
Add all ingredients to an ice filled mixing glass
Stir for 40 seconds and strain over an iced filled rocks glass
Garnish with a zest of orange
