Ravioli in Tomato & Fresh Basil Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 Packet of Mr Organic Formaggio Ravioli.
- 1 Tin of Mr Organic Chopped Tomatoes.
- 2 Tablespoons of Mr Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- 1 Clove of chopped garlic.
- A handful of fresh basil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Method:
1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute or until it is golden.
2. Add the fresh chopped basil and chopped tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce is thick.
3. Meanwhile cook the Ravioli following the directions on this packet. Drain and serve with the tomato and basil sauce. Serve with grated vegan cheeze and extra fresh basil leaves if desired. Buon appetito!
