To pan fry and oven cook from chilled Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rub with 5ml of oil and season with a pinch of salt & pepper. Preheat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/ Gas 6. Pre-heat frying pan to a high heat. During Cooking: For best results the pan must be hot. Seal steak for 4 minutes turning regularly. Transfer steak from the pan and place onto pre-heated tray into the oven. Cooking times for rare are 7 - 9 minutes, medium 9 - 11 minutes, well done 14 - 16 minutes, turning half-way through. After cooking: Remove from the tray and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. This product should be cooked until it is piping hot throughout. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned.

Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. If cooking rare, do not pierce the meat before cooking and ensure the surface is fully seared/browned.
