Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep candle away from flammable materials, sources of heat, overhanging objects and polished surfaces
Place candles in an upright position on a secure heat resistant surface
Do not move a burning candle. Containers may become hot during use, avoid touching or moving once lit. Do not move holder once wax is liquid
Do not place candles in a draught
Extinguish a candle if it smokes, flickers repeatedly, or the flame becomes too high
Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow out. Extinguish the candle using a snuffer or the back of a metal spoon, taking care not to damage the wick
