History
Santa Carolina, founded in 1875 and currently owned by the Larrain family, proudly champions Chilean Heritage with a focus on innovation. Through the journey of the valleys, Santa Carolina respects each varietal's typicity and treasures the expression of fruit. The estates, owned and managed by Santa Carolina, are located in Maipo, Rapel, Leyda, Casablanca and Colchagua.
Regional Information
The grapes were grown in the Leyda Valley estate, which is close to the Pacific Ocean which has cool salty sea breezes and long ripening periods which make it an ideal place for Sauvignon Blanc, yielding wines with crisp and lean acidity.

Vinification Details
Grapes are hand-harvested and each vineyard lot is vinified separateley. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks to retain natural fruit flavour and acidity.
